Conor Naughton is an educational developer in higher education responsible for a portfolio of academic development services, specialising in student engagement and transition. As a former student representative of a large-scale Students’ Union, he is passionate about student voice, belonging and student engagement.

Conor is a prominent voice in the sector regularly presenting at conferences and is involved in a variety of wider HE networks. This includes as a committee member of the researching, advancing and inspiring student engagement (RAISE Network) with whom he recently co-published a student belonging good practice guide and as an external trustee at the University of Salford Students’ Union.

What to Expect

In this webinar, Conor will draw from his extensive experience in the field of student engagement including sharing insights from his current research with student representatives on student attendance post-COVID-19 and from his recently published RAISE Student Belonging Good Practice Guide.

He will share practical advice, approaches and evidence-based ideas from his work as an educational developer on how you can develop and deliver a high-quality student experience be it through community-building activity, enhanced staff development or improved practice during welcome and induction.
